ABSTRACT

The current learning paradigm is oriented to the XXI century learning and the development of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution. It is relevant to the emergence of the COVID-19 outbreak and the new normal era where the learning is held online. Conducting online learning needs a good readiness from educational institutions, teaching, e-learning quality, infrastructure, and many more to support the online learning implementation. The significance of this study was to analyze the needs for indicators of online learning instruments, to know the weakness and the strength levels of each required indicator as well as the accuracy of instruments for online learning assessment conducted later. This study aimed to analyze the needs assessment for the online learning program during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study was carried out by conducting a survey. A total of 128 samples were selected for this study consisted of 115 students and 13 lecturers from 6 study programs in the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Padang. The data collection instrument was questionnaire adapted from Al-Shagran (2017), the need analysis of the evaluation of online learning programs. Data analysis was conducted descriptively. The result showed that the required indicators for assessment started from the design of the e-learning management system technology provider and then followed by teaching staff. © 2022, Pegem Egitim ve Ogretim Dergisi. ABSTRACT

The aim of this study is to screen the content of bioactive compounds of Moringa oleifera and to identify its potential as an antiviral against COVID 19 through an entry inhibitor mechanism using bioinformatics tools. The sample was obtained from PubChem database. Amino acis sequences were obtained from the NCBI. Protein modeling is made through the SWISSMODEL site. The target proteins for this study were SARS-CoV-2 Mpro and RdRp. The protein-inhibitory interaction of the drug from M. oleifera bioactive compounds to SARS-CoV-2 was predicted by molecular docking with PyRx software.The result shows that M. oleifera was a potential antiviral candidate for SARS-CoV-2 with an entry inhibitor mechanism through a compound, especially quercetin. The RFMS value of both interactions between Mpro and quercetion and RdRp with quercetin were not higher than 1.05. This result still needed further research to prove this prediction. ABSTRACT

Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) causes the COVID-19 pandemic that infects humans and attacks the body's immune system. The purpose of the study was to identify the potential of bioactive compounds in purslane (Portulaca oleracea L.) and star anise (Illicium verum Hook) via a dual inhibitor mechanism against SARS-CoV-2 proteases with an in silico approach. The samples were obtained from PubChem and RSCB PDB. Antivirus probability prediction was performed on PASS Online. Virtual screening was performed with PyRx via molecular docking. Visualization was used by PyMol and Discovery Studio. Compounds with the best antiviral potential are indicated by the low binding affinity value to the target proteins, namely SARS-CoV-2 TMPRSS2 and PLpro. The results showed that purslane luteolin has the best antiviral potential. However, further studies are required to validate this computational prediction. © 2022 Phcogj.Com.

ABSTRACT

The learning process in the STKIP PGRI West Sumatra Informatics Education Study Program still uses conventional learning methods, namely through face-to-face contact between lecturers and students in the class. The traditional learning method currently taking place has limitations that can hinder the learning process, such as limited time and space to interact with each other, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. With these conditions, the online learning process is an alternative to support learning in its current state, with technological developments that can simplify the learning process and make the time more flexible and support the learning process anywhere, anytime, and anyone. An electronic learning system (E-Learning) was created from these conditions, which is expected to be an alternative solution for online learning to overcome the STKIP PGRI West Sumatra Informatics Education Study Program’s limitations, especially in introductory web programming courses. E-learning is designed using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method supported by the PHP programming language and implementing the Laravel Framework. The learning process using E-learning is designed using localhost as the central server. This study’s results resulted in an E-learning application built based on the analysis and design recommended by the STKIP PGRI West Sumatra informatics education study program. With this application, it is hoped that it can simplify the online learning process, especially in existing introductory web programming courses. © 2021
